These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of my website – https://www.christuckmotivationalspeakerandtrainer.co.uk – and services provided by Chris Tuck Motivational Speaker and Trainer (“I” “me” “we”, “us”, or “our”) to you (“you”, “the customer”).
By making a booking, attending an event, or using any of my services, via my website, phone, email, social media or in person, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use my website or services.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

I’m a motivational speaker and trainer based in the United Kingdom.
I provide motivational speaking, training, workshops and programmes, and coaching services, either in person or online, to individuals, organisations and educational settings;

Quotations & Estimates
All prices are in GBP (£) and may be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Fixed quotations are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to change if further issues are identified.
Any variations or additional work outside the scope of the original quote will be subject to additional charges.
Booking & Payment
Service details, including dates, times, and prices, will be confirmed in writing before your booking is final.
A booking is confirmed only when written confirmation and any required deposit or payment have been received.
Full payment is due by the agreed date stated on your invoice.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, card payment, or other agreed methods.
Payment terms are as follows unless otherwise agreed:
- Individual customers: Payment due upon completion of work.
- Commercial customers (organisations and educational settings): Payment due within 14 days of invoice.
I reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate for overdue invoices under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
I may require a deposit for large or high-value jobs.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
By You:
Cancellations must be made in writing.
If you cancel more than 30 days before the event: full refund (minus any non-refundable deposit).
If you cancel 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
If you cancel less than 14 days before the event: no refund.
By Me:
In the rare event that I have to cancel, I will refund any fees paid or reschedule at a mutually convenient date. I am not liable for any additional costs you may incur (e.g., travel or accommodation).
Event Changes
I reserve the right to make minor changes to the content, schedule, or location of an event to ensure the best possible experience.
If a significant change occurs, you will be informed as soon as possible.
Client Responsibilities
Ensure the event environment is safe and suitable for the audience and delivery method (in-person or online).
Provide accurate information about your needs, audience size, and technical requirements.
Treat all participants and myself with respect.
Access & Conditions
You must provide clear, safe, and timely access to the event location and technical facilities i.e. sound systems, projectors etc.
If I am unable to access the event location through no fault of my own, a call-out charge may apply.
You must ensure the event location is free from hazardous materials and complies with health and safety regulations.
Force Majeure
I am not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond my control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, transport strikes, pandemics).
Confidentiality
I will treat any personal or business information you share in confidence, unless disclosure is required by law.
Complaints & Disputes
I aim to make every session inspiring, professional, and valuable — and these terms help ensure our working relationship runs smoothly.
If you are unhappy with the service, please contact me at the address below within 7 days of completion. I aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
Unresolved disputes may be referred to a third-party mediation service or court in England & Wales.
