Educational
Speaker
Chris Tuck is an educational speaker with lived experience, deep compassion and a unique ability to connect with audiences of all ages in London, the UK and internationally.
Drawing on her background in stress management, resilience building, nutrition and emotional health, her keynote talks help educators and youth organisations understand trauma and create environments where every child, young person and educator feels seen, heard and valued.
Adverse Childhood Experiences
In every classroom, there are children carrying invisible burdens. At least three students will have experienced sexual abuse and many more will have faced physical abuse or emotional distress, neglect, bullying, or other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
These challenges impact not only their learning, but their confidence, relationships, behaviour and long-term wellbeing.
Trauma doesn’t stay at home. Students bring it into the classroom, often without the language or support to process it.
Vicarious Trauma
Trauma doesn’t only affect students, teachers and staff are often at risk of vicarious trauma and emotional overload.
Chris empowers educators to foster a culture of empathy, compassion and psychological safety to:
• Understand the impact of ACEs on behaviour and learning •
• Improve student engagement, motivation and focus •
• Strengthen teacher and student relationships •
• Reduce anxiety, reactivity and emotional overwhelm •
• Foster emotionally safe learning environments •
She also provides specialised training to help educational professionals lead with trauma informed principles to:
• Recognise early signs of trauma exposure •
• Support staff wellbeing and prevent vicarious trauma •
• Strengthen emotional resilience •
• Maintain healthy professional boundaries •
• Improve staff morale and wellbeing •
Chris can help your school or educational setting to become safer, more compassionate and better equipped to support young people.

Chris is one of the most inspiring and dedicated professionals I’ve had the privilege to meet. Her work as a motivational speaker and training provider for survivors of abuse is nothing short of life-changing. Chris is a tireless advocate, acting as a voice for those who cannot yet speak for themselves, and lobbying governments and institutions to ensure survivors’ stories are heard and acted upon. I recently had the privilege to attend two of her presentations and was deeply moved by the depth of her knowledge, compassion, and commitment to empowering others. Chris not only helps people move through the trauma of abuse through her training programs and books, but also guides them towards healing the past and living truly fulfilling lives. Her passion, authenticity, and drive to make a difference shine through in everything she does.
